- In the first 40-45 years of his acting career, he struggled a lot. He used to earn only 3 rupees for 24 hours of working. He used to pay his house rent and other expenses borrowing money from his friends and neighbours. The day he joined the TV show ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chasmah’ as ‘Nattu Kaka’, he got his life in control and also bought two flats in Mumbai. His character in the show has really been appreciated by the audience.
