I am not alone. Every student of India is with me." It went viral, after which she was supported as well as trolled for it. She was responding to violence in Ramjas College when Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) members allegedly assaulted students, teachers, and journalists during a protest march. After getting the alleged rape threats for opposing ABVP, she lodged a complaint with the Delhi commission for women. |

Profil dan Biodata Gurmehar Kaur
- Gurmehar is a Delhi University student whose father, Captain Mandeep Singh, was a part of the Rashtriya Rifles in the Indian army, and was martyred on 6 August 1999 by a militant attack in Jammu and Kashmir, after the Kargil war.
- She was in the news for protesting against the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) for creating ruckus at the Ramjas college over a seminar where Umar Khalid was invited.
