- He is a professional dancer and specializes in Kathak dance.
- He got training in Kathak from National Institute of Kathak Dance aka Kathak Kendra, Delhi under the guidance of a renowned Kathak dancer Rajendra Gangani.
- He also learned tabla from his father Lalit Chauhan.
