- Farida Jalal is a veteran Indian actress, who is majorly known for her work in Hindi cinema.
- She was selected in a Young Talent Contest held by United Picture Producer sponsored by Filmfare. She was the one among the selected girls, and the Late Rajesh Khanna was the one among the boys.
- She was born in New Delhi and was raised by her grandmother and her mother as her parents got separated when she was 2.
