- Gurjit started his career as an RJ in 92.7 BIG FM by hosting a show ‘Pecha Pyar Da’ for 2 years.
- After working as an RJ, he received an invitation to audition for a show ‘Kachh Diya Vanga.’
- Before coming in Punjabi film industry, he was a clean shaved and a non-turbaned guy.
- According to him, “I was in the 12th standard in a Government School when I got the opportunity of hosting a school event. Impressed with my anchoring, my classmate’s sister got me to host a game show at Rock Garden, and all these events encouraged my passion towards anchoring, acting and hosting”.
- He is known for his work as an anchor in shows called ‘Miss PTC Punjabi’, ‘Pind Diyan Galiyaan’, ‘PTC Superstar’, ‘Voice of Punjab 2012’ etc.
- During college days, he used to participate in dance, mimicry and anchoring competitions.
- He has also played supporting roles in Punjabi films ‘Hashar’ and ‘Ekam.’
